I just moved to Seattle from the Bay Area a few months ago, and am connecting to you on purpose. If you can help me find events and people of the Burn ilk, I would be most appreciative. I need people. I need art. I need bad influences. I am on Alki Beach and so far I seem to be the freakiest thing I can find in this part of the city.
AS for my art, I do music primarily but can be found engaged in many other artistic and/or embarrassing activities given the right resources and coaching. For reference, I made this piece last year:
steamer.mindfart.com/music/J...EREO.mp3
It was done for Karen Cusolito and Dan Das Mann's art installation "Crude Awakening" at BM '07 (aka the Oil Derrick). The fireworks are synchronized to the music.
Please add me or pass me on to those you think may be able to point me in the right direction for artistic collaboration and/or human connection?

Re: Gah! THERE you are!
Wed, June 11, 2008 - 7:32 AMYou may have noticed this is a pretty quiet tribe. go to www.burningmanseattle.com for info on mailing lists and so on. we all just had our regional recompression out in Eastern WA. it was cold. there's lots of discussion coming up now that people are thawing out.
lots of music here too. have fun in searching!
